Welcome to the Honda EV-STER Concept

In the current poor climate of car sales, your will be seeing many manufactures not just Honda that produce some outrageous designs for “the electric car of the future”. The Honda EV-STER is however somewhat less outrageous, well backed and looks increasingly likely to be Honda’s electric sports car of the future.

The chassis of the EV-STER is the same one from the 2012 Honda Civic. The finished sports coupe measures 12 feet by 5 feet and amazingly stands just 3.5 feet tall. The drawing feature of the EV-STER is Honda’s beautiful drop top convertible roof and its rear wheel drive which ensures that it makes the most of the 10 kilowatt hour battery pack. Honda have managed to gain a range of 100 miles on a single charge which means is plenty to cover the majority of journeys. This degradation rate of the batteries and motor are as yet, unknown but if the Honda EV-STER is anything like other electric Honda’s then it should be fine.

The advanced gadgets in the interior of the Honda EC-STER are slightly too complex for the average user and are a minor drawback for the electric roadster. The bigger drawback is the lack of performance that the batteries and motors deliver to the user. The styling may make the EV-STER look like an electric lotus but unfortunately fails to compete in anyway in terms of speed.
